Summary:

We are Canada’s business development bank and the only financial institution dedicated exclusively to entrepreneurs. Our mission is to help create and develop strong Canadian businesses through financing, consulting services and securitization, with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises. Through our subsidiary—BDC Capital, we also offer a full spectrum of specialized financing, including venture capital, equity as well as growth and business transition capital.

What Makes Us Successful:

The organization is based on doing business with members wherever possible and providing referrals within the group. This dynamic allows me to not only support SMEs through the services offered by BDC but through introducing them to new customers, clients, or partners to help their business. In addition to the focus on business the association has allowed me to meet great people and build strong relationships within the group.

Why We Joined:

As an organization designed exclusively to support entrepreneurs the Business Association improves our presence in the community to have greater impact on SMEs.

Why We Stay:

The Business Association offers a great opportunity to meet and network with likeminded individuals that all come together for a common goal – to do business. Working together not only improves your business but focuses on the greater good for the business community as a whole.
